About

Before we began wood-working as a family, there was a carpenter who changed our lives. He grew up as the son of a Galilean carpenter, but He was of much nobler birth than His humble upbringing led on. This humble wood-worker would later make many audacious claims—such as being equal with God, having existed for all eternity, and being the One who came to save people from their sin.

The humble birth of this small-town carpenter, however, would be paralleled by His death on a roman cross outside Jerusalem. Though He came as the Savior of the world, He was rejected as the worst of criminals.

This carpenter who has changed our lives is none other than Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And thankfully, Jesus’ story does not end with His loathsome death outside Jerusalem. On the third day, Jesus rose from the grave, conquering sin and death, just as He had promised. And someday in the not so distant future, Jesus will return to call His people home and establish His perfect rule on a new earth.

We believe that what Jesus claimed about Himself is true. He is the Son of God who gave His life as a ransom to pay the penalty for our sins. And He is the righteous King in whom is true life. All who repent of their sin and trust in Him for their salvation are forgiven of their sin and granted this new, eternal life.

We like wood-working. But we love the True wood-worker. That’s really our story. If you would ever want to know more about Him, feel free to let us know. We would love to talk with you about Him.
